Peace vs. War
The Montagnards are the indigenous peoples of the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Many “Yards” fought alongside American troops. Since the war’s end, thousands of Montagnards have fled persecution in Vietnam to be resettled as refugees in North Carolina. A team of young Montagnards from Charlotte, NC returned to Vietnam in 2016 and 2017 www.FOCHUS.org. Their mission was to promote unconditional love, reconciliation and peace among their people. More such trips are planned for the future.
